Sac-Actun is the second largest system of rivers and underground caves in the world. Remains have been found in this aquifer that could be at least 15,000 years old. Among these findings are the bones of already extinct animals, as well as relics that could reveal customs and rites of the ancient Mayan civilizations that inhabited the area.

In Sac-Actun we will snorkel for approximately 60 min a part of its rivers and caves, with the necessary equipment to observe the depths of this natural beauty.

Akumal (Place of the Turtles) is a beautiful bay protected by a reef and its white sand beaches make this site the preferred place for turtles to lay their eggs. Akumal is a true paradise full of caves and underground rivers, making it the ideal place for those who like to practice diving or snorkeling.

In Akumal we will enter the Bay, we will be very close to the reef and we will have great possibilities to observe turtles, stingrays, and other species in their habitat.
